Fish and Trucks and Layouts, oh my!

I've been super busy creating layouts this week and I really, really enjoyed just scrapping. I first want to say that I'm now on ScrapMatters creative team and can't tell you how excited I am for that!!! I'm still in disbelief I think.

Next I want to share all of the wonderful new goodies that I've been playing with this week.

Britt-ish Designs has a really, really cute kit, Fish Are Friends, out today at ScrapMatters.

I have no fishy pictures or even anything water related, but that cute little turtle reminded me of Andrew when he was just born.. I used to call him my little turtle baby because of the wrinkly little newborn face of his, like the way their top lip has that little blistery thing in the center that juts down a bit like on a turtle. Anyways, newborns have always reminded me of what I think a turtle would look like out of his shell.

Make sure you go to Britt's blog to pick up a coordinating freebie HERE. While you're there you may notice that Brittney does show-offs every week. If you send her a layout using her products (and she has a TON of free products on her blog) and e-mail her the link, she'll give you a free gift. This week she gave away Pocket Full of Templates 3. Here's a couple of pages I did using them.

I used Imperial Girl on this layout.

I used Tiny Cowgirl on this page.

Still with me? You definitely do not want to miss this kit if you have boys in your life! I must say that I think this is one of my favorite kits ever and see myself using it over and over. Erica Zane has Hard Hat 101 available today at ScrapMatters. I'm showing you the preview for the kit, but she also has some other bits that coordinate and has them all in a bundle you can find HERE, but I wanted you all to see how awesome this kit was.

I could seriously sit and scrap 20 more pages just like these two that I've done so far. Andrew LOVES anything with wheels and we have a TON of trucks around my house.

Jeni Hopewell and Hafen Creations teamed up on this back to school collab, Elementary My Dear. I just love the primary colors in this and all those school supplies really rock!

I did this page for the My Story Matters challenge at ScrapMatters. Each challenge is for you to record YOUR memories and scrap them to create a book about your life. I had started doing these at the very beginning and then stopped. I do plan on going back and doing all the challenges I missed. I will be so neat to have a book about my life. This challenge was to scrap about an accomplishment. I chose to scrap about how I got straight A's all through elementary school.

And finally I sat down and scrapped with PurpleColourz and Zoe Pearn's, Sugar Plum Princess collab. Love the colors in this. So girly!

I did this page for a color challenge at Funky Playground. Have you checked out the challenges there? There are daily challenges and for every challenge you do, you could have the chance to win a $5 gift card to the ENTIRE store. Love the challenges there and I'm going to make it a priority to do more.

I've done all this scrapping and have even came up with something new to put in my store on Monday. Can't wait to show it to you all!

So, so cute. I am looking for a kit you did some time this summer I think and was wondering if you could tell me where I might find it. My internet search hasn't turned up much. It was called Feels Like Home I believe. Thanks so much!

Among the most hardworking vehicles on and off the road are trucks. These indicate that machines can be relied upon by vehicle owners and drivers alike. GMC trucks are designed and manufactured for the ability to carry huge and different loads.
