Do you scrap realisticly?

I always try to scrap a page like I'm actually using real supplies. Could you write on top of a flower? Or have a wooden/thick frame on the edge that was cut off? I've been noticing a lot of layouts with things on them that wouldn't be possible with paper. Some of them look neat, but my logical brain says it's wrong. Just curious if anyone else acts like they are scrapping with paper....

Here's another page from Amanda Heimann and Ziggle Designs Firefly Lane available at Scrap Orchard.

Mary (littlehiccup) has made this awesome, superhero friendly kit that's free on her blog. http://plumdumplingdesigns.blogspot.com/2009/02/friends-for-good_16.html
I just had to use it for this picture of Andrew at Halloween.

Haynay has a new kit, Mint Chocolate Chip coming out tomorrow filled with greens and browns. She also has a coupon and coordinating freebie on her blog: http://haynay.blogspot.com/

I did this for a speed scrap last night and literally did it in 20 minutes. I had started a page and just wasn't feeling it, so I redid the whole thing right at the end. I'm pleased with it, but would've done more.

I also want to share a preview of the whole daily download that starts at Scrap Matters on Monday!! I'm loving it already. It makes me want to get the Wii Fit even more!

Allison's waking up for her midnight feeding. Off to bed.

Who doesn't love Scrap Matter's Daily Download???

Here's a sneak peek at the next daily download that starts February 23rd.

What I've been up to:

Amanda Heimann and Ziggle Designs have teamed up again with this AMAZING Firefly Lane kit! I wish I had some firefly catching pictures, but I don't. It's so versatile that I was able to use it for pictures of the park last fall with Andrew and my brother, Brad.

Bren Boone has this CUTE mini kit, Apple of My Eye, for free in the Scrap Orchard gallery!

This page was for a scraplift challenge at Scrap Matters. I may go back and change the colors of the flowers. I'm not quite feeling it.
If you haven't picked up the Enchanted Artbox collab between SherrieJD and Tangie Baxtor, I highly recommend that you do! There is so much awesomeness in that kit!
I've been eyeing Dani Mogstad and Kristin Cronnin Barrow's Deerest Spring kit since it came out and decided to buy it for myself for Valentine's Day. I'm sooo glad I did. I love it.

Do you ever feel that there aren't enough hours in the day?

I just feel like time is just flying by. It's already February!!! When did that happen?? I was fortunate enough to see a brand new baby the other night and it made me realize how big mine actually are! I don't plan on having anymore right now and the thought that I'll never have a tiny little newborn around makes me a little sad. But then I look at mine and am happy I don't have to go through that stage. I'm so done with the baby stage, the diapers, bottles, feedings, but Allison's only 7 months old so I'm not getting away from it anytime soon.

I've been working on some pages over the last few days. I love my evenings alone.

Bren Boone's new to Scrap Orchard and I was so pleased that I was able to work with her new kit, I Dream of Poppies. I just loved it and can't wait to use it more! This first page was an ADSR challenge. Ask one person, one question. The question was the only journaling and you could only use one picture.

Here's my sweet Alli-bean sleeping:

These two are use Sherri Tierney's Flirty kit at Sunshine Scrap Studios. Misty brought Hayden over a couple of weeks ago and I snapped some pictures.

I love this picture of Allison. Yet another sleeping picture. You would think the girl actually did sleep! I used Julie Marie's Princess Hearts kit available at Sunshine Studio Scraps.
Britt-ish Designs and Erica Zane (two of my FAVORITE designers) have this collab, Itty Bitty, out that I'm in love with!! I did this page from my baby shower with Andrew. I actually miss being pregnant. I plan on using this to redo some of their first born pages, I love it that much!

I'm struggling with the way I design pages for Andrew. Of the ones I have printed, he'll look at the bright colorful ones the most. I'm trying to make his pages more fun for him. I love this picture of him. I did this for a challenge and journaled the things that have importance to him right now. I used Britt-ish Designs Motor Mania kit.

The other morning, Randy "let" me sleep in, and "let" Emma dress up Andrew. I found these pictures on the computer later that day and fell in love with this one.

That's all I have. I should go to bed, it's really been a long day.

Haynay Designs has a new kit!

Kamping Rocks is now available at Scrap Matters!

I did the SS at SM last night and this is what I came up with. Those speed scraps are sooo addictive!
Here are some more pages that I've been working on. I really need to start scrapping in order because I'm starting to feel a little overwhelmed with all the pages that need to be done over the last 2 years.

That's it for now. Allison's on my lap trying to reach the keyboard making it very difficult to type. Off to tend to her.

More exciting stuff

First off, my page is this week's layout of the week at Scrap Orchard!!! Woohoo!

I'm also on the site's creative team for this month. How excited am I? VERY!!! They come out with a monthly collab kit that you can get for the first week of the month for only $3!!

There is so much in here and so many different pages can be made. Here are two that I did:

I used SherrieJD's Enchanted Artbox and Curious Adventures and her two new alphas to do this cute little page:

This is for a challenge at Scrap Orchard. I mainly used Ziggle Designs and Amanda Heimann's Smooches collab (I totally LOVE this kit and can't stop using it)

Julie Marie has a new kit, Spring is Coming, available at Sunshine Studio Scraps, Faith Sisters and her brand new store Digital Candy. Can't wait to use this one more!
