Designers Challenge at Funky Playground & New Daily Download at ScrapMatters

Hi all! I've been a neglectful blogger yet again, but I have a couple things I want to share with you! First of all, I'm hosting the Designer's Challenge at Funky Playground this week. My challenge is to make a layout using white space. If you complete this layout before Friday, you'll get a little something special in your inbox from me. I'd like to think of myself as very generous when it comes to coupons and all I'll tell you is that you may be getting a new product before it's released in the shop. I never showed off the page I did with one of Britt-ish Designs newest kits, Galactic Alliance. It was inspired by Star Wars, but is versatile enough for other layouts as well. I have to confess that I've never seen anything Star Wars, but I thought these pictures of the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in D.C. were perfect for this.

I'm Baaack! and I have a new template pack!

So without going into too many major details, I was super busy last week. I can finally say that my two year old is potty trained and my 14 month old is a walker!! I've been a mad woman trying to make my house up to par for a brand new walker. She hasn't stopped moving in four days and momma's exhausted. By the time they go to bed, I'm ready for bed myself. My husband also celebrated his birthday on Saturday. All of that along with some other personal things has been the reason that I haven't been on the computer very much. I have so many things that still need to be done and want to apologize for not posting on my blog.

Long awaited CT announcement. I'm sorry this took so long to get posted. I was still waiting to hear from a couple of people. Unfortunately, I don't have a fancy announcement, but I still want to introduce my newest team members:

I would like to thank EVERYONE who applied for my creative team. It was not an easy decision. I went through galleries and read every single application. I tried to select new members who had different scrapping styles than the girls that were already on my team. I love seeing the same product used in different ways that I may not think of. I also wanted to make sure that these different styles still meshed with my design style. I also based it on the applications. I wanted to pick out ladies that I felt would mesh well with my existing team. I take this seriously and viewed the applications as I would if I were going through resumes. My team helps me sell kits and I want to make sure that we all fit well together. I'm rambling just to say that there are many of you who are fantastic scrappers and unfortunately, I couldn't choose all of you. :(

I've managed to have a new release today! I know the day's nearly over, but you can get my new Lined Up template pack on sale through Tuesday.

World Traveler Collab with 2 Freebies!

I've been such a slacker this week and haven't done anything computer related since last Friday! It's crazy that I'm not suffering withdrawals or anything, but it's been nice to do some home improvement projects and then veg out in front of our new television in the evenings. I just checked out a book that I've been wanting to read for a while at the library today, but wanted to get some work done before I started reading. I'm bad about reading. I HAVE to finish the book within a day or two. Nothing else gets accomplished.

Here's a layout I did. I took this picture on our trip to NYC. We were on a ferry going to Ellis Island and I tried googling to find the name of this building, but no pictures came up that looked like this. I also have a ton of pictures from a trip to Europe that I took about 10 years ago that would go perfectly with this kit.

Hope you're sitting down because this is going to be a looong post. I have so much information to share and I'm surprised I made it through yesterday. I was busy, but the nice thing is that I'm almost done working for the week and it's only Tuesday.
